E-filing a Trademark on IP India
E-filing means filing your trademark online on the IP India portal instead of on paper. It costs less, you get the application number at once, and every later step (examination report, reply, hearing notice, certificate) comes online too.
You file form TM-A, the single form for a new application, which can cover one or more classes. You need a digital signature (DSC) to sign it, unless an agent files it with their own login and your form TM-48 (power of attorney). Keep the logo as a JPG and the documents as PDFs ready.
