GSTR-1 for Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho Sellers
If you sell on more than one marketplace, every month starts with several GST reports in different formats: Amazon’s Merchant Tax Report, Flipkart’s Sales Report and GSTR report, and Meesho’s tcs_sales and tcs_sales_return files. Your GSTR-1 needs all of them added up into one return for your GSTIN.
This GSTR-1 report maker reads those files together in your browser. Returns and refunds are taken off, and sales are grouped by place of supply and GST rate. Exempt sales at 0% go in their own table, and quantities and values are summarised by HSN and rate.
You also get the e-commerce operator summary with each marketplace’s GSTIN and the invoice series available in the reports. Your report files are never uploaded to any server.
Check Your Marketplace GST Reports Before Filing
Marketplace reports carry whatever HSN and GST rate were set on each listing, so mistakes are easy to miss. The tool warns you when one HSN is sold at more than one rate, when an HSN code looks too short, or when a state can’t be read. Flipkart sellers also get an automatic check of the Sales Report against Flipkart’s own GSTR report.
Check the figures with your CA before filing. The tool doesn’t cover counter sales, website sales, GSTR-3B or input tax credit, and you still file the return yourself on the GST portal.
