Marketplace Shipping vs Your Own Courier
On your own courier you pay the freight, a COD charge on COD orders, and usually an RTO charge when a parcel comes back undelivered. On Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, shipping is handled through the marketplace and charged differently. The comparison table shows rough figures for each. Marketplace fees change often, so confirm them in your seller panel.

Is this my final shipping cost?
No. It is an estimate. The final charge depends on your courier plan and the weight the courier measures, and RTO or other charges can be added.
Why is a 1 kg plan sometimes cheaper for a small parcel?
Couriers sell plans with a minimum chargeable weight, and their prices differ. The table shows the cheapest plan of each courier and its minimum weight.
Does it include RTO charges?
No. The rate API doesn’t give an RTO charge, so check it with your courier before you decide.
Are marketplace figures official?
No. They come from public pages and seller reports, and marketplaces change them often. MarkRTD isn’t part of Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho, so check your seller panel.
